Abstract: Sample surveys rely on representative subsets to infer characteristics of entire populations. However, sensitive topics, like illegal activities in agriculture, can lead to biased responses or refusals. The Randomized Response Technique (RRT) addresses this challenge by guaranteeing respondent anonymity through randomization, encouraging truthful disclosure. This paper explores various RRT models and their specialized applications, particularly within the agricultural sector and beyond.
